Uji Potensi Tabir Surya Partisi Ekstrak Metanol Kulit Batang Anak Dara (Croton oblongus Burm F. )

A study has been conducted on the potential sunscreen test of methanol extract partition of Anak Dara bark (Croton oblongus Burm F.) The potential sunscreen test of Anak Dara bark extract was carried out by calculating the erythema transmission value (% Te) and Pigmentation transmission (% Tp) and also the SPF (Sun Protection Factor) value of an extract. The purpose of this study was to determine the partition of ethyl acetate, n-hexane and ethanol extract of Anak Dara bark (Croton oblongus Burm F.) with the percent erythema transmission value, the percent pigmentation transmission value and the SPF (Sun Protecting Factor) value which have the potential as sunscreen. The method used is partition. The results showed that the use of ethyl acetate solvent for extract partition at concentrations of 250 ppm, 300 ppm and 350 ppm respectively the percent erythema transmission value was %, 5.05%, 4.61%, 2.89% included in the protection extract category. The percentage of pigmentation transmission is 8.25%, 7.66%, 5.21% included in the Total Block category. In the calculation of the SPF value in succession at a concentration of 250 ppm, 300 ppm, 350 ppm, 9.271; 9.628; 14.216 are in the maximum protection category with an SPF value of 8-15.
