PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN MEDIA KOMIK TERHADAP PENINGKATAN PENGETAHUAN TENTANG POPULARITAS PROFESI APOTEKER DAN OBAT-OBATAN PADA SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR DI BEBERAPA SEKOLAH DASAR

In general, elementary school students really need the role of pharmacists for
health knowledge, especially regarding medicine and the pharmacist profession.
Comic-Based Learning Media is a tool that can be used to deliver messages from
the sender to the recipient so that it stimulates the thoughts, feelings, concerns and
interests and wishes of students in such a way that the learning process occurs in
order to effectively achieve the learning objectives. This research is a quantitative
research using Quasi Experiment method, with pre and post test techniques using
the Multiple Choice Problem instrument and comic media as Learning Media and
examined on elementary students in several elementary schools. From this study,
the results obtained that an increase in knowledge about the profession of
pharmacists, pharmacies, forms of medicine, classification of drugs, how to get
drugs, drug use, drug storage and disposal of drugs contained in the Comic media
and more effective use of comic media as a learning medium compared to only
accept material directly. This is indicated by the an increase in the average score
of pretest with an average category of ‘less’ knowledge into an average score of
‘very good’ category at the posttest in some of these elementary schools.
