Preeclampsia is a disorder in pregnancy, including hypertension that affects pregnancy and infant mortality. Preeclampsia is one of the leading causes of pregnancy perinatal mortality and occurs worldwide. The aims of this study were to prevent and treat maternal HTN, to safely prolong pregnancy as long as possible for a more mature fetus, and minimize fetal exposure as much as possible to drugs that may have adverse effects, antihypertensive monotherapy drugs in preeclamptic patients. used in the world is the Calcium Channel Blocker / CCB (nifedipine) group of 74.83% and the combination of 2 drugs used is the CCB and Beta Blockers (nifedipine and labetalol) group of 23.08%. This study aims to determine whether the use of antihypertensive drugs is in accordance with the drug rationality module or not. The method in this research is to study literature in the form of journal articles that have a relationship or keywords related to the proper evaluation of the use of antihypertensive drugs first line and second line in preeclamptic patients. The results of the study indicated that antihypertensive drugs were still often prescribed to preeclamptic patients that did not suit the patient's needs. This can be used as a reference for doctors and pharmacists in prescribing drugs.
