Uji daya hambat ekstrak etanol daun mahkota dewa (Phalarian macrocarpha sceff) terhadap bakteri penyebab jerawat.

ABSTRACT. Has done research on antibacterial activity test of mahkota dewa leaf ethanol extract (Phalarian macrocarpha sceff) against multiple bacterial Propionibacterium acne and Staphylococcus epidermidisby agar diffusion method. The next MIC test for two bacteria at a concentration 1%, 1,5%, and 2%. Furthermore the inhibition test using the agar diffusion method (paper disc). The inhibition test using agar diffusion method showed results that the greater the concentration used, the greater the diameter of the resulting barriers. It can be concluded that the ethanol extract of leaves mahkotadewa could inhibit the growth of bacteria Propionibacterium acne and Staphylococcus epidermidis
